1. Communication and Approach
- Be Clear and Direct: Avoid figurative language, metaphors, irony, or jokes, as interpretation is often literal.
- Allow Time: Give the person enough time to process information and respond— do not rush them.
- Avoid Infantilization: Do not use a childish tone of voice, even with children, and especially not with adults.
- Alternative Communication: Use gestures, signs, or visual aids if verbal communication is difficult.

- 明確で簡潔に話す: 比喩、皮肉、冗談などは避けてください。言葉は文字通りに受け取られることが多いです。
- 時間を与える: 理解や返答のための時間を十分に取り、急がせないようにしてください。
- 子ども扱いをしない: 子どもに対しても過度に幼い話し方は避け、大人には特に注意してください。
- 代替コミュニケーション: 言葉でのやり取りが難しい場合は、ジェスチャーや視覚的なツールを活用してください。
2. Behavior and Social Interaction
- Respect Sensory Boundaries: Do not require eye contact.
- Routine Provides Security: Avoid surprises and maintain a predictable routine to reduce anxiety.
- Focused Interests: Value the person’s interests, as they are important for engagement and comfort.
- Do Not Compare: Avoid comparing an autistic person to others or to neurotypical individuals.
2. 行動と社会的な関わり
- 感覚の限界を尊重する: アイコンタクトを無理に求めないでください。
- ルーティンは安心につながる: サプライズを避け、予測可能な流れを保つことで不安を軽減できます。
- 興味関心を大切にする: 本人の関心は安心感や関わりのきっかけになります。
- 比較しない: 他の人や定型発達の人と比較しないでください。
3. In Case of Crisis or Dysregulation
- Stay Calm: Your calmness helps reduce tension.
- Reduce Stimuli: Move the person away from noisy environments, bright lights, or crowds.
- Safety First: In case of aggressive behavior, focus on physical safety. Avoid physical restraint unless absolutely necessary.
- Give Space: Do not force physical contact without permission.
3. パニックや不安定な状態のとき
- 落ち着いて対応する: 周囲の落ち着きが安心につながります。
- 刺激を減らす: 騒音、強い光、人混みなどから離れた環境に移動してください。
- 安全を最優先に: 攻撃的な行動がある場合は、まず安全確保を優先し、必要以上の身体的拘束は避けてください。
- 距離を保つ: 許可なく身体に触れないでください。
4. Inclusion and Support
- Priority Assistance: Individuals with ASD have the right to priority service to reduce exposure to stressful environments.
- Safe Environments: Prefer smaller groups and calm, quiet places for social interaction.

1. Initial Approach
- Approach calmly: Do not run toward the person, as it may scare them.
- Identify yourself and speak calmly: Use a clear, simple, and gentle tone.
- Respect personal space: Avoid immediate physical contact.
- Observe behavior: Check if the person is anxious, scared, or distressed. In case of a crisis (crying, shouting, repetitive movements), do not restrain—focus on creating a safe environment.
- Use clear communication: Speak in short, direct sentences. Use gestures if needed.

- 落ち着いて近づく: 急に近づくと驚かせてしまう可能性があります。
- 名乗ってやさしく話す: 落ち着いた声で、簡潔に伝えてください。
- 距離を保つ: いきなり触れないでください。
- 様子を観察する: 不安・恐怖・興奮がないか確認します。パニック状態(泣く・叫ぶ・反復行動)の場合は、拘束せず安全な環境を確保してください。
- 分かりやすく伝える: 短くシンプルな言葉を使い、必要に応じてジェスチャーを使います。
2. Immediate Actions
- Check for identification: Look for bracelets, badges, necklaces, or clothing tags with contact information.
- Offer something familiar: If the person is unresponsive, offering a familiar object (toy, device) may help build trust.
- Ensure safety: Keep the person away from hazards, especially water (pools, lakes, rivers).
- Seek help if needed: If the person cannot communicate their identity or address, contact local authorities or nearby staff.
2. すぐに行う対応
- 身元の確認: リストバンド、名札、タグなどの連絡先を確認してください。
- 安心できる物を提供: 落ち着かない場合は、興味のある物で安心感を与えます。
- 安全確保: 特に水辺(プール・川・湖)など危険な場所から離してください。
- 必要に応じて支援要請: 身元が分からない場合は、警察や周囲のスタッフに連絡してください
3. What NOT to Do
- Do not shout or scold: Wandering may be caused by stress, anxiety, or sensory needs.
- Do not underestimate: Treat the person with respect according to their age.
- Do not ignore: If the person seems confused, engage with patience.
